One of the often ignored and sadly misunderstood pillars of health is our BREATHING. This is a movement, an action with our body and psyche that happens from the first moments outside the womb, until we take our last breath. This 24/7 dance that our body does while awake and asleep is our most immediate link to life.

For much of my life as a yogini and movement teacher I had this question… “How do I change my breathing to be healthier and more efficient when I’m not consciously thinking about it?” I desperately needed to restore my own central nervous system and I was told many times that breath could be the master key. It wasn’t until I discovered the method designed by DR Konstantin Buteyko and the science behind this practice that I finally began to understand how to heal myself and help others.
